Twizzle Chairs
About the project
Twizzle re-imagines the form and function of public seating within our cities with an aim of counteracting the stressful and disconnected feelings which arise from living in a busy metropolis. Using accelerometer sensors these colourful swinging chairs offer a playful interaction to users by allowing them to abstractly translate their motion into a colourful, psychedelic visualisation. This interaction not only encourages people to sit down, relax and engage with the display, but also to interact with one another through a process of artistic creation and collaboration.

My name is Claudia and I have recently completed a Bachelor of Design Computing at the University of Sydney. Over the past three years, I have developed a wide range of skills that have provided me with the foundations of a well rounded designer. My strengths are centred around Software Development (Arduino), creative problem solving (UX Design) and media production (UI/video/ graphic design).
