About the project
Framely is a smart home system which uses Artificial Intelligence to combat loneliness within the homes of the elderly which would improve the state of their mental health. It is through user research we found that social isolation was a major contributing factor to mental health issues such as severe loneliness, depression, anxiety and low self esteem. We designed a product which would bring people together through the shared admiration for objects, memories and experiences within in the comfort of their homes.

Three words to design by: functionality, usability and aesthetics. The Bachelor of Design Computing has allowed me to explore these concepts along with so many other facets of design and technology and I look forward to continuing this exploration in my future career. I am passionate about User Experience design and user centred design methodologies and hope to use all that I have learnt in my degree to help create a positive tangible difference for the future.
