About the project
Framely is a smart home system which uses Artificial Intelligence to combat loneliness within the homes of the elderly which would improve the state of their mental health. It is through user research we found that social isolation was a major contributing factor to mental health issues such as severe loneliness, depression, anxiety and low self esteem. We designed a product which would bring people together through the shared admiration for objects, memories and experiences within in the comfort of their homes.

Always excited and fascinated by design, throughout my study of the Bachelor of Design Computing I have strived to create meaningful and memorable products and experiences. I enjoy collaborating with designers with different skill sets to create innovative, functional and aesthetically pleasing concepts. I have enjoyed learning different user centred methodologies which has allowed me to create a sense of empathy for the user, thus being able to translate this into my designs. As the world around us is rapidly changing, I think the world of design is becoming just as exciting as it was when I started the degree.
