PlayBack
About the project
PlayBack is an interactive screen inside the bus shelter and is inspired by 1960s TV aesthetics. Users can change the theme using the knob of the TV, play with the elements on the screen, and visually see real time data of the buses that are arriving to the bus stop. The aim of the solution is to reduce anxiety of waiting for buses and immerse users into the story of travelling somewhere.

While I usually enjoy simple things like gaming and shopping, my time at uni studying Design Computing has made me realise my true passion for design and innovation. I’ve had heaps of fun and enjoyed making friends, as well as learning a lot about the design process which I hope to carry forth with me into the future. I’ll never forget my time here on campus, and I’m excited for what the future holds for me as a Designer.
