About the project
Ether Rods is a light installation project designed to augment the walkway labelled 'Decline and Rebirth' next to the Chinese Garden of Friendship in Darling Harbour. It is responsive to sound and movement through an array of colours. Taking into consideration the natural Australian flora lacing the path, the form acts as a representation of the Bamboo forest found in the sister state of NSW, Guangdong.
